Foothills Connect Business & Technology Center

Are you looking for assistance in starting a new business or needing help to incorporate technology into your current business? Well Foothills Connect Business and Technology Center is a resource for you.
Foothills Connect Business & Technology Center was established in 2005 to support the development and growth of small businesses and entrepreneurship in Rutherford County. They are one of seven similar centers throughout North Carolina. Five of their key components are: business services, technology services, business enterprise development, technology training and public Internet access.

Foothills Connect also has a very exciting new program called "Farmers Fresh Market." With this program they are teaching local farmers to sell their produce online to chefs in the urban areas within a 60 mile radius from Rutherford County. They are primarily serving the Charlotte area, but are also branching out into the Asheville market. Check out this new initative at: www.farmersfreshmarket.org

Another program that Foothills Connect sponsors is NC REAL. The NC REAL Mission is to develop entrepreneurial talent through action learning and to foster the creation of sustainable enterprises throughout North Carolina, with special emphasis on rural communities.
