Alliance Precision Plastics Inc. Grows in Rutherford County

Spindale, NC - The Rutherford County Economic Development Commission is pleased to announce that Alliance Precision Plastics Inc. proposes to expand production capabilities at their existing facility located at 171 Fairground Road, Spindale, NC. This expansion will result in a new investment of over $1,250,000 in equipment and machinery and provides an opportunity to continue adding jobs at the Spindale facility. Alliance Precision Plastics Inc. acquired the former Molding Dynamics facility and assets in March 2012.

Bradley Scott, President and CEO stated that “Alliance Precision Plastics Inc. is expanding operations at its Spindale plant which requires the acquisition of seven new injection molding machines and will double the current workforce at the plant. We are especially grateful to the State of North Carolina, Rutherford County and The Town of Spindale for their pro-business stance and their assistance. Their willingness to partner with us has been critical to our ability to expand and meet our customers’ demands.”

The Spindale, NC facility gives Alliance Precision Plastics Inc. a strategic advantage to service existing customers and to grow their production capabilities. This expansion project was made possible in part by a North Carolina Department of Commerce Industrial Development Fund grant in the amount of $150,000 awarded to Rutherford County for the expansion of the public water line along Fairground Road. Rutherford County will provide the required 25% match for this grant. In addition, Rutherford County and the Town of Spindale have approved local industrial incentive grants as a result of the proposed expansion and new capital investment.
